Enforcement

Marine protected areas are only useful management tools if they are actually protected. PIMPAC and its partners recognize that effective enforcement of MPA's is a critical component to improving management. PIMPACs capacity building has been to support the entire enforcement system, from the on the ground enforcement officers, to supporting legal capacity through legal fellowships and training for judges.
